A new beginning.......

Oh dear, here it is week 2 and I haven't started this journal/blog whatever you  want to call it.

Ok, first up; thoughts on the images from week 1 lecture:
First thoughts were;
looked green and verdant;
on a hillside;
it could be a resort or a port city, or maybe a hotel or conference complex in a holiday town.

My inital thought was it was the rebuilt casino at Montreaux, on the shores of Lake Geneva, but with a little research, found out that was wrong.

On closer inspection, one of the images revealed it as a 'Casino Municipall', on lake somewhere, possibly in Europe. When you look at those mountains, could even be Lake Geneva.


The main building is symmetrical and to a certain extent, it looks like an unprinted cereal box on its side, with a few extras tacked on.
